Location. The Gant is situated in an enclave at the base of Aspen Mountain, also known as Ajax, in Aspen, Colo. Located less than seven blocks from the resort are the Silver Circle Ice Rink, the Silver Queen Gondola and various shops. The Aspen Art Museum is less than one mile away.
Features. The Gant resort comprises six three-story buildings that house 120 condominiums, accessible by a series of covered paths. Resort amenities include two heated outdoor pools, three hot tubs and a sauna. The resort offers five tennis courts and a fitness facility with cardiovascular equipment and free weights. Complimentary airport and town shuttle service is provided by the resort. Additional amenities include 24-hour security, concierge services and wake-up calls. Laundry facilities, and ski and bicycle storage are available on site.
Guestrooms. The Gant offers condominiums with fully equipped kitchens, including coffeemakers with complimentary coffee and tea, microwave ovens and refrigerators. All condos feature wood-burning fireplaces. Private patios or balconies offer mountian views. Desks and direct-dial telephones with voice mail are provided in all units. Condos are equipped with cable television and complimentary high-speed Internet access. Other amenities include in-room safes, bedroom humidifiers and fans. Designer toiletries are provided in bathrooms.
Expert Tip. The Gant offers discounted rates to the Aspen Spa and Club. The club is a 77,000-square-foot facility that features spa treatments and massage services, as well as wellness and sports medicine classes.
