Location. The Sheraton National Hotel just off Interstate 395 in Arlington, Va., is one mile from the Pentagon, Arlington National Cemetery and Memorial Amphitheater. Both the Jefferson Memorial and the Lincoln Memorial are two miles away. Complimentary shuttles are available to Pentagon City Metro light-rail station, Pentagon City Mall and the Pentagon, upon request.
Hotel Features. The Sheraton National Hotel features a fitness center, heated pool and a rooftop sun deck. The hotel has a 24-hour business center with high-speed Internet access. Guests can dine on Maine lobster, shrimp, Cape Cod scallops, Maryland crab cakes and other classic American and regional cuisine at the hotel's restaurant, the Potomac.
Guestrooms. The Sheraton's 408 guestrooms feature hardwood furnishings. Complimentary newspapers are delivered weekdays. Premium bedding includes pillowtop mattresses. Hypo- allergenic bedding is available upon request.
Expert Tip. One mile from the hotel is Arlington National Cemetery. Specific requirements must be met in order to be buried in the cemetery. Active, retired, and former members of the armed forces, Medal of Honor recipients, high-ranking federal government officials, and their dependents are eligible. More than 60,000 Americans are interred there.
