Location. The Morrison House - a Kimpton Hotel is located in historic Old Town Alexandria, Va., amid 200-year-old brick row houses, spas, cafes and boutiques along cobblestone streets. The Potomac waterfront is eight blocks from the hotel.
Hotel Features. The Morrison House is decorated with Italian marble floors and period engravings. Sommeliers are available to select wines for meals at the Grille. Illuminated artwork hangs on the eatery's walls. On Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, live music is provided at the Grille's piano. The hotel's parlor features dark wood flooring and antique-style furnishings. This Alexandria hotel includes an elegant library with fireplace, computer area and chess tables. Guestrooms. The hotel's 45 guestrooms feature Colonial-style furniture and Frette linens on carved two- or four-poster beds.
