Features. This 1925 Arts and Crafts style hotel features handcrafted mahogany woodwork, imported slate flooring, stained-glass windows, local artwork and handcrafted tiles based on classic Catalina designs. The custom furniture was crafted in the Greene and Greene style of the Gamble House in Pasadena. Complimentary continental breakfasts are served each morning on the garden patio or in the lobby. Light refreshments are available all day. The rooftop deck with lounge chairs and tables offers a 360-degree view overlooking the island and the Avalon Harbor. The garden patio features a fire pit, fountain, tables, chairs and market umbrellas. Pets are not allowed at the property.
Guestrooms. Guestrooms at the Avalon Hotel on Catalina Island feature private bathrooms, bathrobes and handmade soaps. Microwave ovens, mini fridges and coffee facilities are provided.
